This cleanup is a collaborative effort between Matanzas Riverkeeper and the City of St Augustine. Together, we will be organizing a cleanup initiative aimed at revitalizing and restoring local wildlife habitat at Fish Island Preserve. We're seeking four Cleanup Captains for this event to lead groups in zones during the event.

Volunteer Role

We need Cleanup Captain volunteers to assist with setup, volunteer coordination, and packing up. 

A Cleanup Captain Volunteer plays a vital role in organizing and coordinating coastal cleanup events, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the cleanup process. This position focuses on overseeing volunteer check-in procedures, providing guidance and direction to volunteers, and maintaining a safe and productive cleanup environment.
