We did it! Fish Island has been purchased by the state for conservation. But before it is officially opened to the public, it needs little bit of TLC. There is still a lot of debris onsite that needs to be cleaned up.

Join us on Saturday, January 11th for a community cleanup event on Fish Island. Parking will be available in the parking lots in the adjacent office complexes. There will be two shifts: one from 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM and one from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Please RSVP so we know how many people to expect.

Be sure to come prepared:

• Wear long sleeves and closed-toed shoes for protection from brush and bugs
• Bring bug repellent, sun protection, and a refillable water bottle
• Bring gloves if you have them, otherwise gloves and grabbers will be provided
