Please join us in welcoming Lauren Trice as Matanzas Riverkeeper’s new Outreach Coordinator. Along with her impressive professional background, she shares our love for the Matanzas River watershed and Florida’s unique natural areas. Lauren will assist with community events and clean ups, coordinating the Litter Gitter program, fundraising, recruiting volunteers, and representing Matanzas Riverkeeper at public events. 

Lauren moved to the St. Augustine area in 2015 from Tennessee. She was a professional recruiter for 5 years before shifting her career into volunteer work and supporting local non-profits. She is most passionate about the environment and protecting Florida’s natural resources for future generations.

Lauren enjoys spending time with her son Henry, gardening, kayaking and fishing in the Matanzas River.
